I slowly walk down an empty street past the Kijuju zone staring meticulously for any unknown movements. Suddenly, I hear the familiar growl I’ve grown to fear, and the hurried footsteps. Around the corner and infected Majini people are barreling down towards me. I try to count, I get to 5 before I focus on taking down as many as possible. I use my trusty Beretta to take them down, watching as their bodies fall and disappear as bullet after bullet fill their infected bodies. As I run out of bullets I pull my newly acquired Ithaca M37 and try and make quick work of the last few. As I think everything is clear I am grabbed from behind. Such a fool I was for focusing solely on the Majini in front and completely ignoring the area I had just come from. I think all is lost when suddenly I hear in real life “Michael, Behind you!” and just as suddenly as she said it, the Majini was dead. In my focus I had completely forgotten I was not alone in this terrifying adventure. It all made sense, seeing as how I could not have taken down so many alone. I was saved, and on more than one occasion. So with this post, I thank you, Diem Doan, I could not have done this without you. You are my one true ally during the infection.

Things to do before school starts
im aware that maybe half of these are out of my reach and i wont exactly be able to finish them, but these are what i have set my sights on, and i plan on finishing the ones that are within my reach.
New Years Resolutions
Alright, before i hit any real posts, i want to rant a little about mass effect 2. Since i have nobody i can talk to about it i plan on just leaving this around for whoever to read. I can’t wait for this game which is dumb, since i dont have an xbox of my own to play this with.
I’m excited for the new features of the game. Hitting specific points of the body, more skill hotkeys, stuff like that. But i think the thing im most excited about is all the class updates. all my favorite classes get specific skills as well as new skills that have been made. I love my sentinel character, and i still plan to play as him, since he has a good mix of the engineer and adept powers. but im really sad about his class talent, tech armor. it sounds like a good idea, and im sure some people will like it. but i was really hoping for some kind of offensive ability. maybe it will be, but as of now i dont know.
